Winner: Workplace design of the year 2021. Kite is a compact armchair designed with commercial and hospitality spaces in mind and in particularly small spaces.

Kite takes up minimal space while offering the chair's user a bit of calm and security. The backrest and seat are independent parts, with shallow and deep seats and lower and taller backs available for use in combination, according to the size of the space and degree of privacy desired.

Judges comments: "This project is considerate towards a culture that sits for long periods of time. The curve of this chair protects your own space, and by positioning multiple chairs you can create a miniature architecture within the room."
